Melinda Dahmer is awesome! You can tell she loves what she does. Melinda kept my husband and I apprised of houses available in our price range. She offered professional advice when we had questions or concerns. When we called her and she'd be on another call she would text me to say she would get back to us as soon as possible, and she did just that. Melinda is dedicated to her work and it shows. We worked with a number of agents in our process to relocate from NC and purchase a home in the Covington-Mandeville area. We were very specific in our requirements for a new home and selected Melinda because she did an excellent job of screening the market and proposing homes that 'checked all the boxes' and were in our price range. As we were in NC, we had to rely upon Melinda to preview properties before involving us and then walk us through selected properties via a virtual tour online which was very helpful.

She went above and beyond in working with us to structure our offers on a number of properties in a very 'hot' market and was instrumental in finally helping us land a home that met all our needs while staying in our price range.

Melinda followed up by taking care of negotiating the closing, all the details with inspections, scheduling, and so forth, to assure that we closed on this property on time and without incident or surprises.

Post sale, Melinda provided us with a very useful binder containing information about our property, with sections to insert future information pertaining to the property and fixtures. She also made sure we got our Homestead Exemption filed with the Tax Assessors office in a timely fashion.

All in all, her attention to detail in the home shopping, pre-sale, closing, and post-sale activities was excellent.

The only issue we had was in the performance of one of the recommended inspectors, the Home Inspection, whom we felt (after the fact) did a very cursory and substandard inspection of the property. Otherwise, all the other inspectors were professional and provided the expected level of service.

In closing, Melinda was a pleasure to work with, understood our expectations, and in every aspect went above and beyond to assure that we were taken care of and our interests protected. Highly Recommend!
